  Faromor FRP Chimney
  Faromor FRP Chimney

Livestock and poultry producers increasingly embrace the Faromor Chimney as a superior concept to ridge exhaust. Higher air exit velocity of the chimney, achieved with less ridge opening, results in more equal air exchange throughout the structure and minimizes undesirable down-drafts and rain or snow entry.

In colder geographical regions (such as Canada and the Northeast USA) the Faromor Chimney is a good choice for all natural ventilation applications. It is beginning to gain acceptance in those applications that traditionally employed open ridge designs. Dig deeper »

Faromor recognizes the superior advantage of an unrestricted open ridge design for maximum air exchange. To maintain this advantage, permit light entry and exclude the entry of rain or snow Faromor developed its ‘Sun Ridge' design.

This ridge can be restricted from fully closed to a 2-3 ft opening with the touch of a button. In a restricted open position snow and rain are virtually non-existent yet in the fully open position maximum air exchange of an unrestricted ridge
is guaranteed. Dig deeper »

  Solar Dome Ridge

Faromor fabricates a ridge dome to keep out the elements yet permitting the entry of natural light.

The Faromor Solar Dome maintains the simplicity of an open ridge but minimizes the negative effects of down-drafts and rain/snow entry.

This concept of an open ridge has proven to be effective and is widely
employed in the Northeast, USA.

A design limitation is the dependence upon the prevailing wind direction. Sudden changes in wind direction (eg. easterly storms) can permit over ventilation and snow entry of serious consequence.
