These large free stall
facilities are usually ventilated with a system of side
wall and ridge openings which permit adjustment manually
or automatically to assure an optimum production environment.
Circulating fans and/or evaporative cooling is normally
employed to supplement the natural wind forces in the
warmer times of year where dictated by local weather
extremes.
