Tie
Stall is a housing system in which
cows are individually restricted in comfort stalls.
Milk and waste products are transported via milk
lines and gutter cleaners from cow to storage.
Feed and water is delivered to the cow via manual
or automated delivery systems.

Stall barns are
more suited to
smaller operations of usually less than 150 cows. Faromor has
a long history supplying quality ventilation systems
for this management system. Dig

Milking
Parlours or Robotic
Milk Stations are associated with
free stall barns. Cows are directed to this center
where the milk harvesting process takes place.
As large numbers of cows temporarily reside in
the conventional Milking
Center special consideration
must be given to the ventilation requirements.

In
larger dairies non-milking cows and heifers are separately
housed from the milk herd. Maternity and treatment areas
may be included or provided separately or in the free
stall area. Ventilation requirements are similar to the
milking herd and Faromor ventilation
products can be employed. Dig

critical to avoid scours and/or respiratory problems.
Although individual calf hutches is a
popular concept from day one group housing is often practised at some point in
the young animals life.
Faromor has
products & experience to successfully ventilate "warm" or "cold" calf
